I hope everyone had a happy new year and is looking forward to a better 1998.

I was thinking about making some resolutions, but those would be kind of like those lists we posted a while back, right? I haven't finished that list, so those should become my resolutions, right? I don't know. Most peoples' new years' resolutions have to do with bettering themselves. Losing weight, getting a job- stuff like that. I'm 16 so I don't really need to get a job, and I think I'm an OK size. I want everyone's families to be back together and safe, but that's not a resolution because I can't really do anything about that.

I guess that I resolve to be more outgoing? Oh and to not drink at school again.


I'll see you all tomorrow on the train ride back to school. Or maybe I won't. Just be safe, yeah?

Happy Christmas, everyone. I hope that you all are safe with their loved ones.

It hasn't been awful being back with my Dad. He hasn't asked me much about school and I haven't hold him how awful it is. At least I didn't get one of those letters saying I'm not learning enough tourture methods or disagreeing with all of that misinformation about Muggles. He made us breakfast this morning and hasn't had almost anything to drink so far tonight. Christmas reminds him of Mum. It probably helps that I hid the photo album.

Well, we're about to head off to church! Happy Christmas, again.

I didn't even really want to go home, but almost anything is better than Christmas at Hogwarts this year.

seamus, youre party wasreally great and i probably had a little tooo two to much to drink but it was great anyway! happy birthday. um and i just wanted to say ithink i like girls, but i don't know, you know? except maybe i do. i don't know.

I'm bringing what's left of my chocolates to the hospital wing. Would any of you like anything else?

I guess that's what I get for spending some of my savings on chocolates from Honeydukes. At least they didn't think I deserved a detention for doing what everyone else has been doing for the past three years.

Maybe I'll just skip Hogsmeade altogether next time out.
